Week 7

This week’s muffin mission I went chocolate! First, I scrounged the internet looking for a recipe. I thought of the idea of mocha muffins and plunked that into the Google. And found the Best Mocha Muffins. I brewed some coffee and left it in the fridge while I gathered the other ingredients. After baking, they were perfection! The perfect looking muffin. However, letting them cool and having the first bite was a tad disappointing. These muffins lacked the coffee flavor but still had plenty of chocolate. Disappointing for the mocha department but good in the chocolate one! Another downside was that these muffins, day old, tended to fall on the dryer side. Overall, these muffins looked amazing and had lots of chocolate flavor but in general, lacked the wanted coffee flavor. Instead of the Best Mocha Muffins I am calling them Yummy Chocolate Muffins!
